The Rasta Review: September Edition
You know what time it is!
As the sun is leaving us a bit early, marking the coming to an end of summer which truly was a great summer with less rain and more sun, I can personally say it was a good planting season not just to watch the blossoms bloom.
The Cinnamon Buddha strain which comes to us from the Simply Herb brand is a relatively lesser known but intriguing cannabis variety. It’s often praised for its unique flavor profile and balanced effects. Cinnamon Buddha is typically an indica-dominant hybrid. Its lineage is OG KUSH crossed with G13, known for their relaxing and calming effects, and this strain is generally known for its smooth and aromatic qualities, with the THC testing at 26%. There is a sense of relaxation and calm, which can make it suitable for unwinding after a long day. The indica-dominant nature often means that the high leans towards a more soothing body high, though it’s usually not overwhelmingly sedative. As the mind lifts into a state of gentle happiness, the spirit also feels the soothing calm to go with it.
Cinnamon Buddha has a distinctive cinnamon aroma that can be quite captivating. This spicy, sweet scent is often accompanied by hints of earthy and woody notes, making it a unique experience for the senses. The flavor profile usually mirrors the aroma, delivering a warm, spicy taste with subtle sweet undertones. The buds of Cinnamon Buddha are typically dense and covered in a frosty layer of trichomes. They can range in color from vibrant green to darker hues, often with orange or amber pistils weaving throughout. The visual appeal of the strain complements its aromatic and flavor qualities.
Cinnamon Buddha might offer relief from conditions such as chronic pain, insomnia, and anxiety. Its relaxing properties can be beneficial for those struggling with sleep disorders or muscle tension. However, as with any strain, effects can vary from person to person.
Cinnamon Buddha is a unique strain that stands out for its spicy, cinnamon-like flavor and balanced effects. It’s a good choice for those looking for a relaxing experience without being overly sedative. Whether you’re using it for recreational purposes or medical relief, its distinctive qualities make it worth a try for those interested in exploring different cannabis strains.
My pre-roll pick is from Nature’s Heritage, the Lilac Diesel Bubble Hash Infused pre-roll. Its effects felt very nice, and the smoke was enjoyable. The Bubble Hash infusion takes the experience up a notch so connoisseurs will be pleased and those new to infused pre-rolls should take it low and slow.
