The Rasta Review March Edition

Rasta here again with a brand-new review. With spring being the word of the day, I choose to follow suit. With more daylight comes more energy and more things to do, so I thought it would be very appropriate to do a review of some of the sativa strains that we currently have to offer. Faith has it that all the strains that I personally worked with this week were sativas. I started with Rev’s own Mile 62 Sour Lemons Testing at 27% THC, I had to try it first as this cultivar was a 1st Place Winner at the 2019 Colorado High Times Cannabis Cup. Much was expected and much was delivered in the form of both mind and body simulation. First was a head rush with a sense of motivation but then also relaxation and pain relief. There was a true balance of everything that Sour Lemons brought on. The second strain I tried was Tropicanna Banana; this strain has legend in its blood so, again, my expectations were high but no worries – it delivered as promised. My experience included feelings of creativity, happiness, uplift, gratitude, focus, and sociability while also a great deal of relaxation. Tropicanna Banana felt like a “lift your shoulder up to the sun” moment. My spirits lifted with the first inhalation and then my mood was boosted on exhale (like going on a tropical vacation, something I know a little about). Next in my lineup was the Iced Lemonade. The linage of this strain is very interesting, and it carries an eye-opening effect that quickly infused me with energy, focus, and euphoria immediately on the first few pulls, with creativity and clarity the outcome. This cultivar had a “coffee and biscuit” feel to it which was quite enjoyable.

In working on this review with these sativa strains, one thing was clear. If you have something to do and you need a little push to start your movement in the morning, movement at midday, motivation, or energy lift, you have some great choices on our menus. Each of these strains are a to-do list’s best friend as they were built for the work at hand, to energize and move my day along pain-free. Let’s be motivated. Happy March.
